Nine community organizations inspired by Detroit Works Project Long Term Planning (DWP LTP) are hosting Detroit Neighborhood Forum: Meet the Candidates; three State Representative candidate forums in July that are focused on improving the quality of life in Detroit. 

Join the project to meet the state representative candidates who are running to represent your community! Candidates will be asked questions about the future of the city in the context of Detroit Works Project Long Term Planning.

The candidate forum schedule is as follows: 

• Tuesday, July 24, 2012 on the Northeast side of the city at Serbian Memorial Hall (19940 Van Dyke St.)
• Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Wayne County Community College District (1001 W. Fort St.) for residents living in the Southwest and Central and Near East Communities
• Monday, July 30, 2012 on the Northwest side of the city at Northwest Activites Center (18100 Meyers R.)
