Michigan Roundtable Request for Proposal - Comprehensive Evaluation of Community Change Work
The Michigan Roundtable is inviting evaluators to submit a proposal for a comprehensive longitudinal evaluation of community change work that they have engaged in from 1997 through the present. They have up to $60,000 for this evaluation for 12 months of work.
The evaluation should:
- Analyze the Michigan Roundtable’s past community change work
- Scan other community change models across the nation, and compare Michigan Roundtable’s work to these.
- Provide technical assistance and evaluation training to previous communities worked with, focusing on those worked with over the past four years.
The evaluation should produce both an interim and final report. Evaluators should also be prepared to make a presentation of their findings to the Michigan Roundtable board.
Attached is our full request for proposals. The deadline to apply is April 15, 2013.

Since 1941 The Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and Inclusion has been a not-for-profit civil rights organization located in Detroit working to overcome discrimination and racism by crossing racial, religious, ethnic and cultural boundaries. We bring together community leaders from government, law enforcement, education, faith, grass roots organizations and business to understand different points of view and then take action to overcome structural impediments to inclusion and equity. Our programs are recognized by national organizations for bringing about sustainable change. We work to address inequity throughout our region through a process of recognition, reconciliation/reorientation and renewal. We strive to build relationships that create social justice and build sustainable inclusive communities.
