Call for Applications (Closed) - CBPR Partnership Academy
Thank you to everyone who applied to our third annual Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) Partnership Academy, a nationwide, year-long capacity building opportunity for community-academic teams with little or no CBPR experience who are focused on improving health equity in their respective communities. The application deadline was February 10, 2017, and we are no longer accepting new applications.
The CBPR Partnership Academy includes:
- a week-long intensive course, taught by both University of Michigan (U-M) academic researchers and Detroit community partners, at the U-M School of Public Health on July 16-21, 2017;
- one year of remote monthly learning activities;
- a non-competitive $1,500 project funding opportunity; and
- access to ongoing networking and mentorship.
Twelve teams will be selected to participate in this unique, all-expenses-paid program. We will send notifications to all applicants in mid-April.
The CBPR Partnership Academy is funded by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences of the National Institutes of Health under Award #1R25GM111837-01.
