Announcing the Detroit! Walk Your Heart to Health Capacity Building Program

The Healthy Environments Partnership (HEP) is providing resources and capcity building and technical assistance to community groups interested in improving heart health in Detroit through walking.

If you are interested in starting a walking group in your neighborhood, learning how to engage policy makers to create changes in you neighborhood, or simply learning about other organizations in your area that are working to improve commuinty health, consider applying.

HEP offers programs for community-based and faith-based organizations to support walking groups.  

Completed applications are due on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 by 5:00pm.
