Announcing the 2014 Scholarships to Attend the Methods in Community-Based Participatory Research Summer Short Course at the University of Michigan

The Detroit Community-Academic Urban Research Center (Detroit URC) is pleased to announce the 4th round of scholarships to attend the summer short course entitled, "Methods in Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) for Health". 

Starting July 14, 2014 a team of ten trainers (5 university researchers and 5 Detroit-based partners) will provide a week-long training on collaborative research through the Graduate Summer Session in Epidemiology based at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Employees from Detroit community-based organizations and Detroit-based health services organizations are eligible to apply for scholarships to attend the session (non-credit seeking only).

There will be 2 scholarships awarded to individuals who are interested in building their organization's capacity to engage in collaborative research. The application form and additional details about the program are available on our CBPR Scholarships webpage.
